Pay $9.99 per month for Spotify Premium? You now can get some free Hulu on the side.
In a new partnership announced Tuesday, the two popular streaming services announced that they would be teaming up, with the bundle available to new and existing Spotify Premium subscribers.
Hulu currently charges $5.99 per month for its ad-supported option that it’s bundling with Spotify.
If you are already a Spotify Premium subscriber, you can add Hulu by logging into the “Your Services Page” on Spotify’s website. New Spotify users will get access to both services for 30 days for free and then will pay $9.99 per month.
Those who signed up for last year’s Spotify and Hulu partnership will automatically have their $12.99 per month rate lowered to $9.99.
The deal runs until June 10, so those who are interested may want to act quickly.
It is currently unclear whether those who already pay for Hulu will be able to add Spotify Premium to their accounts. It is similarly unclear if the offer will apply to those on Spotify’s $14.99 per month family plans.
The announcement of the partnership comes one day after Apple announced it will be holding an event on March 25 in Cupertino, California. After years of rumors Apple, which already offers Spotify-rival Apple Music, is expected to finally take the wraps off of its new video streaming service that may have the backing of Hollywood heavyweights.
Bloomberg recently reported that a number of Hollywood stars could be in attendance at the event, including Jennifer Aniston, Reese Witherspoon, Jennifer Garner and director J.J. Abrams.
